The JSX had a richer sounding clean channel to my ears. They both had so much distortion that I couldn’t tell if one had more than the other. The crunch and ultra channels on . if you like built in spring reverb and don't think you'll need the separate EQ for lead channel (it shares the EQ with the crunch) then the Ultra + is the one to go with. if you don't .
