Feb 6, 2010. I just purchased a 2008 Mercury Milan with the FNR5 Transmission. I plan an changing the fluid and using the Valvoline max life. Has anybody else used this fluid? Of course Ford says to use only the fluid they reccomend or damage could occur. I called Valvoline and they highly reccomend their Max life for use in the FNR5. Like.
