I've given it a couple baths using Dawn Power Spray dish soap, rinsed the bezel out well, turned the bezel under running warm water (not as easy to do on this watch since it's stiff), and have turned the bezel several times (probably 50 times). The bezel is stiff and harder to rotate on my 13 year old Submariner ND 14060 A serial compared to a new model Sub that I test drove today in a local AD. Any suggestions why? The guy in the store said probably because it has been polished..and over the years this happens.

I have tried submerging and running water over the watch while turning the bezel several times and it has not improved. Got my 116610 in August. Since the beginning, the bezel seemed “loose.” When I wear it with long sleeves the bezel moves a few notches. Before I send it in for service, is this abnormal or am I overly concerned? The bezel was nearly impossible to turn. I took some unwaxed (that's important here) floss and cleaned out around the bezel. If you still have difficulty turning the bezel there could be some sand or dirt lodged beneath the bezel and it can scratch the parts pretty easily.
