Unsrew the board, clean it up with vinegar & cotton swabs [ The circut board ] and the plates where the residue is present. Don't drench it. Inspect the undeside of the board see if the chemicals wicked into the board, if yes, Kaputsky! The watch came in three different sizes and different materials.
I've recently acquired a very beautiful 1978 Seamaster Mariner II that's currently not working, put a new battery in it but nothing happens. I think that if I change the whole circuit it should work again properly.
